Every puzzle here is rated easy and reads forwards — left to right or top to bottom, never in reverse — and the shortest lists come first.

The words never read backwards, which is the difference a younger solver notices first: a word found is a word read the way they already read. Some run on a gentle downward slant, so there is still something to look for.

Everything is free, and you never need an account to print or play: choose a puzzle, print it, hand it over. On paper, every puzzle has an answer key page for whoever is marking. Solved on screen, the puzzles check themselves: a word that has been found locks into place and crosses itself off the list, so nobody has to mark it.
