Easy Word Searches

Every puzzle on this page is one the site actually rates easy — not merely a small one. That rating is earned from how the puzzle was built rather than applied by hand, and it is drawn from topics right across the catalogue.

Two things make them easy rather than merely short. The grids are small, so there are far fewer places for a word to hide — a 10×10 holds a hundred letters where a 20×20 holds four hundred. And the words read forwards: left to right, or top to bottom. Nothing on this page is spelled backwards at you.

A good place to start if a word search is new, if the time is short, or if finishing one puzzle appeals more than beginning a long one. Play in the browser, where a found word locks into place and crosses itself off the list, or print it and use a pencil.
