Mother's Day Word Searches
Eight word searches make up this collection, but only three are named for Mother's Day itself. The rest are what the day is built from: flowers to give, a bigger breakfast, the tools that go into home baking, and a spring picnic for families who mark it outdoors instead of at a table.
The three Mother's Day puzzles differ in size. One is a compact 12×12 built around breakfast in bed and a hand-drawn card, small enough for a classroom activity. A second, 14×15, carries sixteen general Mother's Day words. The third is the largest puzzle in the set: a 25×25 grid packing in forty gift ideas for anyone still deciding what to get Mom.
The other five follow what surrounds the day. Two are about flowers: a 14×14 grid naming twenty garden favorites — roses, tulips, dahlias, zinnias — and a smaller, easier one built from eight spring bloomers, among them crocus and lilac. A breakfast puzzle lists what turns up on the plate: toast, eggs, bacon, waffles. A baking puzzle names the equipment of a home kitchen, from mixing bowls to a stand mixer. A picnic puzzle packs a lemonade-and-blanket afternoon into one grid.
This set leans hard: four of the eight puzzles are rated hard, including that 40-word gift grid, and only two are easy enough for a young or new solver. That makes it a better fit for adults, teenagers and confident kids than for a kindergarten classroom. Print one to solve over coffee, or tuck a finished page inside a card before Sunday morning.
